Hi, I’m Anna.
Anxiety & Trauma Therapist in Minnesota
Sensitive, compassionate, insightful humans who are also
overwhelmed, anxious, and exhausted from keeping it all together:
You belong here.
You’ve found your way here because…
The status quo is not working for you. You are ready for real change and healing.
Though a part of you feels nervous, another part of you is ready and excited to do this work.
You’re seeking a guide who can help you excavate below the surface-level problems, and address the deeper wounds that have been keeping you stuck.
MEET YOUR THERAPIST | LPCC (LICENSED PROFESSIONAL CLINICAL COUNSELOR) | SHE/HER
I’m Anna - and like you, I’ve always been highly sensitive, deeply feeling, and aware of my environment and everyone in it. I get how exhausting it can be to navigate this world and its many interconnected systems.
Whatever you’re experiencing right now, I want you to know: a resourced & regulated nervous system, and a deeper connection to yourself & others, is possible.
Through trauma-focused, depth-oriented work, I’d love to help you get there.
Here’s what it’s like to work with me.
-
I’m not the therapist who will just hand you a self-care checklist. Instead, I want to offer you the empathic presence of a regulated nervous system. We will build an authentic, human-to-human relationship - the foundation for any type of deep healing work.
I don’t rush you through the process. My role is to help you feel at ease & safe enough to explore your most authentic, whole self.
-
My approach looks at you as a whole person, holistically - and considers the impact of all the systems you reside within and interact with (i.e., capitalism). I don’t shy away from deeper discussion of the ways our deeply flawed society impacts our mental health.
-
I tend to work with socially conscious folks who value compassion, justice, and equality.

About me personally
I have always felt deeply attuned and sensitive to my surroundings, feelings, and the experiences of others. Only with hindsight can I see how these inherent traits led me to seeking a healing profession that felt meaningful and would allow me to use my sensitivity and caring nature to help others - and hopefully leave the world a little kinder than how I found it.
I live a slow, homebody life in Carver, MN with my husband, rescue pup, and cat.
I love spending my time in nature, updating and styling our 1860 home, camping and backpacking in the mountains and volunteering as an animal rights activist.
As a vegan, I care deeply about the planet and all of the living beings on it. I strive to embody my belief that what matters is not our differences, but our inherent worth as conscious beings (human and nonhuman) and our shared right to live free from oppression and as our fully expressed selves.
Are we the right fit to work together?
We’re likely a fit if…
You plateaued in talk therapy and are looking for a deeper, more transformative healing experience
You’re in a stable enough place in your life to do trauma work
You’re open to a therapeutic process that takes time & patience - and know that this work is worth it, though it may be uncomfortable & challenging at times
We’re likely not a fit if…
You’re looking for a quick fix
(I specialize in depth work that unfolds across multiple months; this time is necessary for us to build an authentic relationship)You’re in an acute mental health crisis, and not available for emotional processing
You only want to manage symptoms & cope, but don’t want to go deeper
